Firefox is really customized browser. You can install many addons to enhance the functionality of Firefox. There are two useful addons for analyzing your website. It means that you can see how many javascripts, css,  images loaded in the website by using these addons. If you are the web developer, some tips information are also provided to you to make the website faster. These two powerful addons are Page Speed from Google and YSlow from Yahoo. By the way, these addons are integrated with Firebug web development tool addon. Therefore, you have to install it first. Lets see the more detail information about the addons. 1. Page Speed

When you install Page Speed, it will add two more tabs in your Firebug. They are ‘Page Speed’ and ‘Page Speed Activity’. Tab ‘Page Speed’ is used to see what improvement tips that you can do for the website. It will also give you a score with max score is 100.  Tab ‘Page Speed Activity’ has the same functionality with tab ‘Net’ from Firebug to see the loading activities for the website.

2. YSlow

YSlow analyzes your website based on their rules for high performance web pages. When you install it, you will have ‘YSlow’ Tab in Firebug. Just click ‘Run Test’ button to see things that can be improved for the website. YSlow also will give you a grade/rank. A is best score that you can get.

    Is there any alternate way to run pagespeed in IE or Chrome, than to use firefox
